How to book? | Mischka Tattoo

Booking Process:

The first step is to contact me via e-mail or Instagram ( contact details provided below).

Please send through what you are looking to have done, where on the body and roughly how big. I could potentially ask you to come in for a chat if your idea is larger scale, so please do include what are the best days for yourself to come in for a consultation.

If possible, send through reference photos (it's okay if you don't have any though!) :)

I usually reply to enquiries within 48hours. On busy weeks it might take up to 7 working days for me to get back to you. If a week has passed, and you haven't received a reply, please nudge me again, your message might have been missed!

If you have a very specific budget, please let me know. I will inform you what we can achieve within it and I will try my best to provide you with options on how to proceed.

Extra nervous?

Do let me know if you are extra nervous/anxious and if there is anything I can do to make the process easier for yourself. Getting a tattoo is a big deal, so let's make sure the experience is as best as it can be!

Consultations:

I don't do consultations for every project. I typically do them if:

your tattoo idea is large scale or complex
it needs to be a cover-up
you are enquiring about hand/finger tattoos
it needs to fit around existing work
I'm unclear about your idea from your e-mail/DM

Or if you just specifically request one.

Artwork:

I usually send your designs 1-2 days before your appointment, however I do try my best to send them a bit earlier. Drawings are done on my days off and evenings between my time at the studio.

I firstly send out a sketch of the overall composition and design for yourself to check and make any changes before I continue rendering it through linework/shading/colour. This is a very crucial time for yourself to communicate with me if my concept is wildly different than what you had in mind.

Booking Fees:

A booking fee is required to secure the appointment slot and it comes off the final price of your tattoo. Final required amount is discussed during tattoo consultation or via online chat.

Your booking fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Cancellations within 7 days will forfeit their fee and a new booking fee will be required if you choose to re-book.

If you need to move your appointment date, please do let me know as soon as possible.

Before the tattoo session:

Please make sure to eat well before your appointment. Big breakfast or lunch is recommended (but not too big! Don't overeat either :) ). Feel free to bring in little snack with you and a sugary drink just in case.

Make sure to stay hydrated in a week leading to the tattoo as well as after the procedure.

Photos:

At the end of your tattoo I will usually be taking some photos of it. Please inform me beforehand if you prefer me not to. Also, let me know if you prefer to not be tagged on socials.

I don't post every tattoo due to multiple reasons (bad lighting, glare, puffiness, redness, motion blur, finger tattoos etc.) and sometimes I post them with delay (social media scheduling). I will never post your face on the socials.

Aftercare:

After your tattoo I will dress it in clingfilm. Keep it on until you get back home, ideally 1-2 hours after the tattoo and then wash it with warm and soapy water. Pat dry with clean towel and apply a thin layer of aftercare cream. Do not put the clingfilm on it again as it needs to breathe. Repeat the process 2-3 times a day. It's fine to get your tattoo wet but don't soak it in water for too long.

It takes roughly 28 days for the top layer of your skin to regenerate, so usually after this time you get an idea of how it healed. If there is anything that needs touching up, please contact me!
